Psalm 23

This is the song of the Psalmist. The very same psalm I read from a 15-kilogram self-scribed Old King James Bible at the Dead Sea Scrolls Exhibition that gave me a simple revelation/reminder as this:

In the shining face of His love that endures forever, He holds our worlds – you and me – so firmly together that we never can see ourselves crumbling.
His passion so profound, no man can surpass it.
His love so undying, it never fails.
His goodness and mercies follow us all the days of our lives and overflow from the crowns of our heads to the soles of our feet.
He has an abundance of grace – beyond anyone’s imagination – awaiting you and me to receive.

And so you think I’m kidding?
Why don’t you ask God for yourselves?
His word is truth. His word is final.
He opens doors that no man can close.

Do you believe?

Psalm 23

1The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.

2He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.

3He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.

4Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

5Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.

6Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.

Jesus is everything. All that I want. All that I need.

All I ever live for in this world.
