I’ve finished watching The Legend 太王四神记 on DailyMotion, and even though the ending isn’t the kind I’m expecting, I’ve learnt a bit from this Korean drama serial.
Kiha and Damdeok were lovers at the beginning. Kiha’s estranged younger sister, Sujini had liked Damdeok since young. When Damdeok became king, he lost all trust in Kiha for she was the Dark Phoenix and did not believe whatever she said, and he began to fall in love with Sujini, who was the True Phoenix. But Kiha loved Damdeok with all her heart and all her life. Then there was this guy named Cheoryo who loved Sujini more than he loved himself. And this plot evolves into something so complicated between this entire love controversy.
But I believe Damdeok loved Sujini all along, somehow. Perhaps he followed Kiha into death feeling indebted to Sujini at the same time, who had been by Damdeok’s side all her life. Damdeok’s love for Kiha was different from the kind for Sujini. Damdeok felt Sujini’s presence whenever she was around. Perhaps what he felt for Kiha was nothing compared to what he felt for Sujini. And poor Sujini had to take care of Damdeok and Kiha’s child for the rest of her life, probably with Cheoryo around.

But my point is.
Surely everybody gets into this kind of love hole (at least) once in their lives, right?
Some people are happy with their spouses, while others take (maybe) a lifetime to realise that their true love is just right by their sides. Must man always stumble upon things that are dear to them the hard way out?
Never mind, adadagio is being that silly person again.
Just feeling a little lonely tonight.
But God made us to love because He first loved us (:
