Today is a good day! At least for now, that is.
WHY? Because I’m free from a whole lot of projects and reports!
(But only for a week.)
After the weekend, I’m gonna have to spend the next three weeks studying for the coming MST (that is after the holidays) and completing my RWPS report and SSM CA2 project. You see, this is the typical cycle of a business student: rush projects and reports during school term, study during holidays, exams once school starts, rush projects and reports again, study during holidays, exams once school starts… And it goes on and on and on and on.
Anyway, Mommy brought home the almost edible DKNY perfume for me. Yay (:
And I’m going to buy my bikinis tomorrow! It’s the Great Singapore Sale! Mommy says Ang Mo Kio Hub has a massive sale down there. I’m going down to check it out after my meeting tomorrow, yayness.
But on a heavier note.
The SDBA report about the dragon boating tragedy that happened to Reu and Jeremy and all was out today. I had been awaiting the piece of news since Wednesday.
Although the report says that ‘no single factor is responsible’ for the incident, I feel it’s rather unfair to comment a fair bit about the standards of the team. It’s never easy competing in a totally foreign environment, right? But all in all, the report seems pretty objective and I feel that the relevant authorities should set higher standards and regulations for the SAFSA team to comply with (and make sure Cambodia doesn’t make any of their substandard mistakes again!), so that a similar case won’t ever surface.
So that leaves me with my last line:
I miss Reuben.
Just Josh and I lunching every other Saturday (but not in the past month) without Reu feels a little weird, somehow.
Well, at least I’m not feeling all the emo shit that normally comes whenever Reu raids my mind. Today, it’s more of peace and tranquility. And I like that.
Here’s a soothing piece of Reu’s piano arrangement for the Naruto medley:
